Here is the corrector under the car. It’s leaking a lot so I remove it to see what I can do
15six_110
At that time I didn’t have the hydraulic lift yet, so I had long moments underneath the car to remove it
15six_111
I start opening it, it’s dirty…
15six_112
… more and more dirty…
15six_113
… the quantity of dirt we can find is quite incredible
15six_114
So I do some cleaning and I install new membranes…
15six_115
… but then I realize that the membrane diameter is too small. Obviously this corrector is bigger than DS and SM ones
15six_116
So I decide to use a SM corrector instead
15six_117
This one seems in very good shape…
15six_118
… but of course there us some dirt inside
15six_119
The bigger issue then becomes the number of connections, there is only one output instead of two for the Traction…
15six_120
… so I try to create the second output, by drilling and taping
15six_121
Then I realize that the output connects correctly to the other output but I could not align both holes (for the fitting and tube) correctly, there are not concentric enough
15six_122
So I’m screwed and I don’t want to try again and destroy another corrector
15six_123
As I need to move the car to install the hydraulic lift, I simply put back the original corrector onto the car…
15six_124
… and of course the leak is still the same once installed 😉
